I would suggest that until the estate of the late Mr Tallichet is settled, any speculation about the future of particular airframes in his collection is fairly pointless.

It is not going to fly. Some of the repairs that are made, are not airworthy. Not to take anything away form the hard and wonderful work that this crew has done rebuilding this B-26.

I'm sure what will happen has been well planned in advance by David Tallichet . I was at his memorial Saturday but didn't dare ask the question of his widow or sons. I'm sure an announcement will be forthcoming.

How did the flyby look at the memorial service?

Do you have a personal interest in the fly-by Stu? I just sent you some pictures from St. Charles.

Oh the flybys were great! Ill have a report up on the memorial maybe tonight. With working full time and two bands, plus everything else I'm into, there is never time to get any photo projects done.

I know of no plans to fly the B-26. We have replaced the Center section spar/ wing attach points with new components. My understanding is MAPS owns at least part of the aircraft in a partnership with Mr Tallichet.

Has MAPS gotten a set of engines and cowls for the Marauder? When I visited there about five years ago, I was told that they didn't have anything forward of the firewalls. Considering the aircraft was pretty thoroughly stripped to get Tallichet's (now Weeks') other B-26 flying, the MAPS folks have done an amazing job!
