Has anybody ever tried to put together a flight of all the WWII pursuit fighters? Kinda like my very hastly drawn picture but way cooler.

It's Possible: P-51, P-47, P-40, P-38, P-39, P-61

Also...

Has there ever been an attempt to put together a flight of all the major countries that were involved within WWII?

Comes to mind: Zero, Me-109, Spitfire, Mustang.
But I'd rather see: Zero, Hurricane, P-47, Me-109, Yak-9

What would be a more collective flight that would involve Italy, etc..?

I'd like to learn how to draw airplanes. If I got good at it I might switch from modeling to painting.

Chris;
I believe the CAF might have done a formation like that a long time ago, but I don't think anyone has recently.
Great drawings! keep going and you'll give Chicoartist a run for his money!

In 2003 Planes of Fame had the "Midwest Fighter Tour" which included their P-38, P-40, F4U and F6F.

Isn't there a famous painting of like a Corsair, P-51, and P-38 flying over New York City.

John Shaw painted that one for the celebration of the end of the war back in 1995.

Always liked that painting. But yeah I would like to actually do a nice piece that would mainly consist of all A.A.C. fighters.

Back in the '90s the POF started one of their annual airshows with a four ship formation of Mustang, Zero, Spitfire, and Buchon. That was a good year!

I think there was a similar flight scheduled for Saturday at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends - a comparison of Allied WWII fighters or something along those lines, but I had to leave before it came up. Anyone else get to see it?

I have a picture/print of this formation. Can anyone tell me who the pilots in this are? 8)
