The VE-7 replica will be going to Pensacola I'm told.

I did not see the Cutlass in the hangar so I wonder if it has moved on?

I love it. is the Pirate going to Pensacola?

Vought is a supplier to my company and I occasionally make trips to the Dallas factory. Unfortunately this site is not open to the public so the retirees work in progress accomplishments are seldom seen. They don't have much money so they need to get very creative in some of the work they do.

Next time you are going to bein the DFW area, give me little heads up and I might be able to drag you around to some of the other warbird locations around here. If your timing is right and we can get in touch with Nelson, it's only about two hours over to his place. Dan L. is also right here in the area and he's in with a bunch of the classics guys too. With enough notice, I might even be able to get you a run through our facility.

Sounds great. I'll keep that in mind. Unfortunately it was a very short trip so I didn't have much free time. On longer visits I usually visit the Cavanaugh museum and/or go to Propwash.

A very nice selection of projects underway there Brandon, and an excellent set of images - thanks for keeping us updated. It's great to see that the skills and experience of this generation of true craftsmen are being put to such good use after they retire.

Hmm...Propwash...my other home when I can get out and go play airplanes... I figure you are talking about the three hangars in the west side, middle of the field, armed with lots of Stinsons, a Navion, a half-track and several other vehicles...
