Jim, good to hear that you had a good tour season !

I think I'll wait until you've had a couple of weeks R&R before I get impatient and have to ask you THE question about the B-17 :lol:

However I am already monitoring the American Aero Services web site, just in case there's any signs of masking tape and a spray gun this winter.

There are quite a few photos of the A-36 on the American Aero Services website. It is www.americanaeroservices.com There will not be too many updates to the A-36 in the next couple of months, as they stay busy with the B-17 and B-24.

As for an aircraft identity, it is still being decided on. It will be a historically accurate scheme, so the cloices will be somewhat limited. I suspect the final scheme will not be formally announced until the aircraft rolls out of the hangar ready for the first flight. There will be some clues in the photo updates once the paint starts going on.

Great photos, thanks for sharing them.

Couple remind me of the opening scenes of "Best Years of our Lives" when they're flying home over the US countryside.
