PPSEL, T/W, H/P, Complex, owned a Luscombe 8A for 2 years, bought it when I was 20, put about 90 hours on it. So far, no real warbird experience unless running on the ground for my job counts.

How about a re-enactor answer:
I'm not a pilot, but I portray one in my L-5.

I have private pilot, high performance endorsement from flying a T-41, and tail wheel endorsement. I have time in C-150, C-172, T-41, C337, T-6, L-16, and L-5. I am coming up on my 200th logged hour.

"Workin' on it... Lotta switches and stuff".

I happended to watch the Andy Griffith show the other day and Aunt Bea was learning to fly. Her quote was awesome........
"There's over 25 instruments and dials in the cockpit and the only one I recognized is the clock!" 8)
