We had one there, Princess.
We were supposed to have another there, Bald Eagle. She decided to have engine problems. Engine is now on holiday to Calif for repair. Of course if BE had attended then there would have been more fuel for the shiny airplane debate.
We would have liked to have Frenesi there but it is still in a few hundred seperate pieces.
1 for 3 from our hangar.

Only one of the mustangs there was not a flyer. all the others flew in. That was the XP-51G.

The EAA has two mustnags that have beenforever grounded from participating at sport aviation events, the XP-51 and their Cavalier P-51D. Both could have been made airworthy fairly easily.
Jimmy Leeward had his D model "Cloud Dancer" or Leeward Air Ranch, whatever. I was there is Ocala a few years ago and they also had a yellow P-51 racer . If it is still around, it wasn't there.
The two flyable H models were not there.
Dr. Burch from Colorado didn't bring his D model to the event.
The ratty D model for sale on Barnstormers as "flyable"in Colorado wasn't there.
"Kiss Me Kate" owned by Tom Cruise wasn't there. I was disappointed but not surprised.
Kermits A model project wasn't there neither was Planes of Fames A model.

P-51's not there,
Strega
Dago Red
Daddy's Girl
Red Dog
Val Halla
Six Shooter
Merlin's Magic

Probably others to, but I can't remember. Dago has no engine right now, so it was not on the list.

I get a kick out of the airplanes at the Salinas show that were on the GML list!

Never Miss's prop is still in Texas getting
some serious work done on it. Don't know about
EVG's has it was on the list but I'm not surprised
it wasn't there. Tillamook's & OFM's also not there.

I've not seen any evidence of Crusader on anything posted anywhere, so I think Joe T. must've still be out partying after winning at Reno. :)
