It's the leading edge of the wing of SOME kind of WWII fighter...and the contestants are the P-40, the F6F, the F4U, and the P-51, since all carried 3 .50 calibre guns arranged in group of three in each wing....now we just gotta figure out WHICH plane it is from....

I'm gonna guess Hellcat simply because it just doesn't look right for a Mustang, Corsair, or P-40. Of course I could be, and probably I am, way off base here!

a-26b had 2 sets of 3 in the wing

Any part numbers?

F6F was my thought too. I checked the 15 Jul 45 Revision of the F6F-3, -3N, -5 & -5N Parts Catalog though & it didn't have a P/N 5276080 listed.

It is a right side gun port off a HellCat. I have someone interested in it.

Can you contact me asap about it via PM?

Thanks!
