Wixers Over Houston

Group,
How many of this crew will be at Wing Over Houston? Some are obvious but there are some of you in the Houston area that are airshow regulars whom I don't really know.
I think it would be cool if we could get a group photo together. Also get to meet each other. I'll be on the Lone Star flightline as will a few others from LS.

I will be going both days, hope to see some other Wixers there and meet up, I say we meet up on the Warbird ramp in front of Ol 927 possibly?

I will be there both days. I am getting the opportunity to fly in my first show on Sunday in the West Houston CAF's T-6..

I'll be working Prime View both Sat. and Sun. so I can't leave at will to rendezvous at Ol' 927.

But look me up at Entrance 1 at Prime View.

Congrats John on flying Ace in the Hole!

Looks like next year for my shot at flying the N3N-3 :tonqe:

I'm going to be there for both days. I'm hoping to give my Visa card a good workout by paying for some rides ....... Ol927 is a must, then there's LSFM B-25 and their B-17 and ......... its going to be a busy weekend

Looking forward to meeting up with some of you guys to put faces to names !

Ol 927 sounds like a good meeting point, although several of us have our own duties. I haven't seen ol 927 since 1972! I'll be in a blue and gold LSFM uniform T-shirt.

I'll be around the Collings Foundation airplanes on the opposite end of the field most of the time, or the Skyraider on Sunday.

BTW, two things. 1.) Gary won't be coming with '927 and 2.) The Collings TA-4 will be leaving on Friday for a function in St. Louis and returning on Saturday evening after the show.

Well if we can't all meet up for a group mug shot, at least we can post where we'll all be so maybe people can meet each other in person. Work on Thunderbird was fast and furious on the new engine yesterday.

Thanks to Tim I'm pretty sure I'll be there for Saturday's show. My dad made some calls tonight and we've got a place to stay - so it's a matter of driving out there now.
As far as a WIX gathering goes - I doubt I'll be able to make it much of anywhere... it's just possible I may have some sort of duty related to the Legends tent...

It actually sounds like most of us will be participating in the show instead of just spectators. That would most likely mean we all will have BBQ passes for Saturday night. What about then? Personally, my only issue with a meet up there, is that the A-4 will be coming back from St. Louis around that time, but we can work it out.

Hey Wixers over Houston, I started this but now I'm having to bug out. I've been sick all week and Saturday is out. Sunday is iffy. Doing the whole show would be risking a relapse. I'll have to see how tomorrow goes to judge the weekend sched.
I hope I can at least get down there for that.
