This Sat evening,8-25, at APA, Centenial airport in south Denver is the Morgan Adams event, at X Jets , way on the southeast side of the field. It is named in honor of a young girl who passed away from brain cancer. Through an auction, as well as admission, $100 per person, a great deal of money, several hundred thousand $$$ has been raised for research into childhood cancer. Despite some very tough odds, they have completely turned around the stats on fatality rates in four years. The static display is a couple of dozen planes, several times that many fine cars, and a catered dinner buffet. If you are not at the FBO, but upat the terminal restaurant, Joe T in his P-51, Jim in his Yak, and I are scheduled to fly a few formation passes about 6 pm. Don't know if they will let me do any acro. I am a very small part of this event, but proud to attend.

Bill,
It is very nice of you and Joe Thibodeau to take part in this event!
Thanks to both of you and others for raising funds for cancer research. Each bit helps those families that have young ones with cancer.

I saw you and a few others fly in this morning at KAPA.

It must be nice to spend your leisure time helping people in such a novel, and wonderful way!

It was an honor to take part in this event. They raised $126,000 just tonight for kid's cancer research!!!!!!!Nice photos, however I may never live it down that there is photo proof of me making a wheel landing in a Spitfire. The lady in the blue T-6/SNJ is Jullie Smith of Albuqurque, sp?

Paul,

Do you have any information on this aircraft.
I wan't lucky enough to get the N-number of the side, and I saw that you had several shots of it on your site. (Your pics are very nice!)

Do you know what the N-Number is? I can't make it out on my shots.

took a look at my photos and none show the a/c from the side (they kept turning early)

not being a "spotter" it's not something I'd keep track of either - sorry

I'm sure it's based either at KAPA or somewhere close as I recall seeing it before - Bill can probably fill you in.

Bill,

Nothing beats a wonderful, late summer Colorado sunset, nothing that is, except for the sound of a Merlin overhead. Thanks for your participation Saturday and for the heads up. What a great way to finish a week. Take care and stay safe.

Sincerely,

Kent Tomlinson
