And BOTH of them, as I recall, are vets of the TV series 'Black Sheep Squadron' ...interesting...

NX240CA is basically the American equivalent of the Spitfire MK IX MH434 over in England-it just keeps going and going and going....only as someone stated, with a new owner every few months/years....it's changed hands like 4-5 times since it was owned by Max Chapman at the time of the 2002 Corsair gathering....sure would like to see it find a stable new home (preferably out west where I stand a chance of seeing it once in a while)....and as for the paint scheme....would like to see it take on something more interesting than what it's in now.....but that's just me.

Glad the Kohs Corsair is heading to Canada...she's a looker, to be sure, saw her at Oshkosh in 2003 at her debut, 10 hours on her clock since restoration with John Lane....beauty of a machine.

It would be nice to once again see a Fleet Air Arm Corsair in Lt Gray's markings roaming the skies of Canada.

I just finished checking the monthly reports and it looks like there is a good possibility there will be two Corsairs in the hangar for a while. It is even likely we will see the two Corsairs in formation over Gatineau, perhaps even for the Open House on September 1st. BTW... There will be a CF-188 Hornet on the ramp during that Open House. Coming up this weekend in Ottawa is the Classic Air Rallye. It is being held at the Canada Aviation Museum. Details at...
