Where Have I been?

Tue Aug 14, 2007 8:46 am

Been away for a few weeks but now I’m finally back! :D

For one weekend I was up in Ottawa, checking the sights and really experiencing the nightlife. While I was up there, I was able to convince my friends to go and visit the Canada Aviation Museum. I definitely didn’t have enough time while I was there. I was also bummed because we weren’t able to visit the storage hanger where the better half of the collection was kept.  For anybody who knows, are there any other aviation attractions in the immediate area? Still a very cool trip!

This past weekend I was only a stones throw away from my house down in Bridgeport, experiencing a huge musical festival that went on for 4 days. It was originally started at Seaside Park, years back, and now in 2007 “Gathering of the Vibes” is back in Connecticut! Since its inception, the show has been located at other parks and locations in the New York State area.

Really, my older sister and her friends are big hippies and just can’t get enough of the Grateful Dead, so really they were the ones that convinced me into camping with them. Still I must say, it was a very cool show. I’m already planning to force my friends to experience the show for next year!

And this weekend……

OZZFEST!

This summer has had me running from big musical venue to big musical venue!

Rock the Bells- R&B/ Hip-Hop/ Rap/ Groove – Randall’s Island, NYC. N.Y.

Gathering of the Vibes- Jam Band/ Rock/ Hippie/ Funk/ Psychedelic – Seaside Park Bridgeport, CT

OzzFest- Metal/ Hardcore/ Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock – Dodge Civic Center, Hartford, CT

Not to mention my little adventure into Ottawa and my trek all the way out to Willow Run for the Mitchell Madness, I have had a pretty good summer! So that’s really it right now. To all my adoring fans who were worried, I’m back and ready for action!

You are supposed to let WIX know you are going someplace BEFORE you go! I am a resident of Ottawa, I could have shown you the warbird sights.

Let me know next time.

Nice to see everybody was missing me.

Mike: Ok dad, I'll call home first. But I actually was gonna put up a message, but time slipped away. I'll be sure to give you a ring when I come up North again. I plan on going back in the Fall so I'll let you know.

Jerry: They didnt. I had to sneek back in!
