I test flew the Spitfire yesterday, and the gear lights work, both for up and down, the problem was a broken switch under the wheel well. So with a wash job next week it should be ready to go to Bolder for a fly in next Saturday Aug 18.

Bill,
Sounds like it is going to be a great program up at Boulder this year.

After a pretty through wash yesterday up at Longmont, I flew the Spitfire to Boulder this morning so am ready for the airport day tomorrow. Had a pretty good landing so the rest of the day felt good. The weather looks good during the day, hope lot's of people come out to take advantage of the glider rides, etc.Such a pretty place, up there with Geneseo for scenery.

If I can get you my best friends address could you drop your piss jug on his lawn for me:

Have a great time, Bill. You should make time to hit the Boulder Cork, if it hasn't got too touristy! Get the KC strip--it rocks the kasbah!
(you might need to call ahead-they didn't used need it)
