Is there anyway to identify a 3350 without the data plate? thanks

Short answer is yes. To much to post here, but, an A- will have 2 bolts instead of 4 on the heads, and if everything is there high
tension ign only, different dist mounts etc


B- has a very distinctive sump system etc

has differnt cyl

Eric , I am a big fan of aircraft engines .Do you have any quick facts you could tell us about the engine on your Spad? At last years Indy air show I had an enlighting conversation about the low tension ignition on your engine with your mechanic. I also may be thinking of another Spad but I seem to recall loking at your engine data plate and seeing that it was manufactured by Chevrolet in Tonawanda New York. Thanks Carl
