Are you saying that Executive Airport once was the Olathe Naval Air Station? Never heard that. When?

Yes, the CAF uses one of the original hangers...I believe. If you go to their site ( http://www.kcghostsquadron.org ) there is a brief history and a nice article about Kansas Naval Air Stations, including Olathe.

Location: KC,KS
NAS Olathe, became the Johnson county Industril airport. And is Now The New centry airport. the old main hanger is now used by the Army for CH-47's. and Garmin's R&D hanger is also on the field. As well as the local CAF hanger.
