Jack Croul's P-38 is an L model. It sat in the museum in Camarillo for a couple of years. It looks great in the sky!

Is that the former MoF one? If so, I helped build the QEC's for that, where is it based now?

My local Barnes and Noble in Battle Creek is either sold out or doesn't carry WD...but I was able to find a copy while vacationing in Toronto this week. Awsome article on AM927.

I don't want to sound like a nit-picker, but a few of the picture captions in the article were mis-matched, and there were several typos. Still well worth the money, and some of the best warbird photography of any mag I've seen!

See, I was thinking the MoF one was a P-38J, hence why I asked if it was a J model. If it's an L-model, then it's not the MoF one... so where'd the MoF bird get off to?

I just purchased the latest issue, and the articles on 927, and the surviving Libs, are great. Are the Js on Angaur too far gone to be considered as survivors anymore?
