I received a call from Larry Price. He asked for assistance to find a nosewheel tire for the B-24 as it is flat. If you can help contact him at 303-241-7318.

I know some folks might look at it like "aiding the enemy," ( ), but let me know if we can be of any assistance.

They find one yet? The bombers are on the ramp at Ft Collins airport as I write this, saw the flying all yesterday morning and got a couple rolls of film of them, then went fishing....later I came back down and fished the river near Loveland itself and they were literally flying RIGHT over me on the river!

They might check with the Weisbrod museum in Pueblo, CO where they have a bunch of B-24 parts...

Looks like you were standing right next to me....'course I ain't developed my film yet, but they'll look a lot like your pics...

They fixed the B-25 'Tondelayo' later in the day, she over flew me on the river, thought it was the -17 coming back over me again...she came back in early morning with a prop shut down and the took the left engine cowlings off and started working on her, but whatever it was it got fixed cuz she was up and about...

Mark, Yeah it looked like there was a bit of a problem with the left engine. Glad to hear it was up and about.

Would anything from general aviation be suitable?

Is there a p/n I can chase?

I'm about 6 hrs from Ft Collins.

Let me know. :D
