Any update, is Ed in Iceland? I am sitting here planning the trip to Geneseo and keep thinking about them.

According to Airshowbuzz Ed made it to Iceland just fine. About 7 hrs in the cockpit and he averaged about 215 kts.

Does he have a relief tube? Or one of those astronaut diapers?

You know Bill, he's supposed to be able to access the Airshowbuzz.com forum while he's flying. I'll bet that he'll answer you if you ask him on that site. Let us know if he answers !

Even if I could get this computer to work on Airshowbuzz site, I assume those guys are busy with weather, maintenance, trying to get food and sleep and don't need any silly questions now.

The site now says Ed landed in Wick, Scotland. Bad weather delaying him there again , but it is dry land now. Actually there's no such thing as dry land in U K, but at least it is land.

Miss Velma is still stuck in Wick due to weather. Below is a video of Steve Hinton explaining what happened to GG:

Can somebody give me a mechanical explanation of what a cracked cylinder liner means relative to an Allison? What is the layout of the cylinder and how and why do they crack? Why not the cylinder change instead of a QEC? Is run-in on a cylinder so precarious that this is a really bad geographic location to do so? Appreciate any information on it.
