Thanks for posting that. Bugs Bunny was one of the greatest actors of all time.

The gremlin is alive and well and lives in the Citation I was flying. He still has a sense of humor.

Those old WWII cartoons are classic...too bad many of them were later censored because of their sometimes off-color content.

I still love the one of daffy duck called "DAFFY-THE COMMANDO" which shows him taking on Hitler and the Nazis. :lol:

Thanks for childhood after school memories!!! I remember watching that and not understanding what the A card meant in the last scene. I never asked anybody but watching the cartoon again made me interested again so I went searching and found this Duke University site which tells about the OPA forms used during WWII. Shows gasoline rationing cards as well as rubber shoe rationing cards. I have the coupon books for my grandmother, father, and his brother in 1943. Just another intriguing look at that time in history.

a true classic, i've seen it a zillion & 1 times!!!! but it's kind of moronic that tv stations still play these on current kids cartoon channels. kids today can't comprehend the ww 2 humor, now........ us of the baby boomer age, when we were little snotbags we understood the humor. i've seen some ww 2 era warner bros cartoons with satires on hitler, cary grant, katharine hepburn etc, completely over today's kids heads, they have no clue as to who these historical icons are, & what they represent, let alone for them knowing that they are from the 40's era.
