Hang in there Jack...things will eventually get better. Just curious...was the structure a total loss and were you at least able to salvage some family pictures, etc.? I know when it comes to fires the thousands of gallons of water dumped usually causes more damage than the fire itself. :?

Hi Jack,

Best wishes and good luck at your new roost, was your photo collection a total loss? Things can only get better and like everyone else we all look forward to your posts.

Thanks Mike

GEEZ...I didn't know those guns in the old P-40s were muzzle loaders.

 Good one Mudge! I nearly spit coffee all over my keyboard this morning reading that...too funny! You could title that picture..."How many Chinamen does it take service a gun?" The ground crew in the picture look as though they're arguing back and forth as to which goes in first...the wading...the musket ball...or the powder.

Jack - man, I'm glad you're alive and I assume none the worse for wear physically. Mentally, that may be a different story, as it would be for any of us.

Look forward, if that's possible right now - the historians and artists of the world need you back on the step!
