It was interesting to note that there were 10 different de Havilland types on the airfield over the weekend.

A comment made by Graham Orphan is that next time (2009) they hope to have a DH 98 displaying. If this works out, it might be possible to have 15 different DH types at the show if sponsorship and availability work out.

DH 100/115
DHC 2

Are there any real Horsa gliders left?

There is one coming together using some original sections and parts at RAF Shawbury, in England, and there is the original forward fuselage at the Mosquito Aircraft Museum, but other than that, I don't believe that there are any originals left. I seem to remember that the Silent Wings Museum in Lubbock, Texas is working on a full-scale replica, supplied in kit form by the restoration team in England in exchange for the fuselage frame of a Waco CG-4A Hadrian. Hope this helps.

Beautiful pictures! The one of the Se5a really got my heart fluttering...

Can you provide more detail on the Se5a - you said it was 'new built'; is it 1/1 scale? Any more pics?

All are fullscale, not just the SE.5. It is powered by an original Hispano-Suiza 200 hp engine. Three flyers will be built and one is a static on display at the Aviation Heritage Centre in the 'Grid Caldwell' diorama.
