To continue with the idea of putting her back in original condition.
It hope the nose art reflects the time. Simple, straight forward & sorta plain.
Jack who thinks the Glacier Girl artwork mars the paint job.

I agree, Jack. THe Glacier Girl nose art looks too modern. I also dislike a lot of the nose art I see today that is perfectly airbrushed. Not a lot of that in the field during WWII, although I'm sure there were a few.

I vote for the Big A$$ American Flag or Col. Mossie! I'll give you $50 cash to put the bomb cat on it!

Fun stuff!

The airplane is looking good!

I vote for the cat or a nice 40's style pin up, no stick figures. To quote a song"Fat bottom girls you make my rockin' world go round".

I'll pitch in $50 for me and another $50 for Col. Mosquito if you go with his artwork!

This has all the makings of a fundraising windfall!

Gary, imagine if you went with Col. Mossie on the nose. The real Mosquito could then tour with the plane, and for $5 folks could have a polaroid of Mosquito and themselves by the Lib's nose. Another $15 gets one a noseart t-shirt.

I think it's about time our favorite hangar cat got an agent.

That's a great idea Dan! Gary could also fashion and install a special litter box for when nature calls on those long flights to airshows.

Geez, and I thought Mosquito was difficult to work with now.

Sorry guys, but the elected staff made the vote weeks ago regarding the nose art for Ol 927, and there were no cats involved...especially Mosquito.

While I don't know about Mosquito, I do know that his predecessor, Col. Spitfire, did not do well when he stowed away on FIFI several years ago, and it was not fun to clean up...... :?

Having also a couple of cats ( Airbus and Boeing ) and going on tour every year with the squadron for a couple of weeks, I'll be happy to take care about Mosquito while on tour :D :D :D
