Will it ever make it back to the states? It is a shame that New Guinea Goverment wont let anyone buy and bring it back home. SOMEONE GET IT OUT OF THERE. B-17 Fan!!!!!!!

the reason for this is because people have taken so much.
and the png govt sees the inflated prices american collectors sell these aircraft for (ie: a p-51d is not worth 1.5 million us dollars no matter how much crack you smoke) and they want a piece of it, and rightfully so.
but what they dont realise is that a wreck is not the same thing as a flying aircraft.
it all comes down to greed on both sides
i heard the last time they were willing to let it go was 5 million usd
