Just booked this show June 30th and July 1rst. They are trying to get 10+ Corsairs and have a good sized budget. They are even trying to get the west coast Corsairs to come. Should be a great event.

Well you beat me to it.

We are just making the site and a list of planes will be on it in the next couple of days. Right now we have 14 Corsairs (including the Super) that are pending. Working on more. The Corsairs will actually be towed inside of the old Plant E building at G.A.C. where they were put together.

The MAPS Air Museum has an Air Expo show every year in Akron. Is this going to be a seperate event? At any rate it seems to be worth attending.

They tried this in 2004 , hopefully they will have better Luck, and money for the aircraft to attend.

This event is not in any way connected to MAPS. My understanding is that MAPS is not hosting an airshow in 2007.

Well, the main guy who was going to sponsor the event just decided he didn't want to. So with it being this late, we had to cancel the show for this year and we are beginning our efforts to work on the 2008 show. :( :(

I'm sorry the show was cancelled,I was looking forward to it. This is starting to look like a bad year. Four of the shows that I had planned to attend have already been cancelled.
