I'm sorry...I was doing some assuming...

...I saw the RAF tag and the insignia and the funny flight suits and the shirt and tie.

I was one fo the guys that worked on restoring the P-47 that flies as Hairless Joe now. I worked on it at Air Heritage way back when I was a teenager.
