The Moon and Venus were in conjunction this morning, and both are in the cresent stage. If you had a telescope, you would have been able to see 2 cresents in the sky.
Not the best of shots, I don't have a camera attached to my telescope, these were taken with my digital camera held to the telescope lens.

Great shots. We were pulling out of our drive at 0500 this morning and both mentioned the positions of the two, but we had no idea that Venus was in the crescent stage.

I always found looking at the Moon facinating. I can't wait for the Lunar Orbiter satellite this Spring which will be able to photograph the Apollo landing sites. Thanks for posting those...
