Good area. Growing quickly. Suggest you look in Royse City or Fate for property, values there are still fairly low. Both Rockwall & Hunt counties have favorable tax structures. Try to stay out of Dallas County if you can.

Rockwall has a good night life itself, but if you get "bored" you can go into Garland (10 minutes) and Downtown Dallas is about 20 minutes away.
