Anyone have a good program that is free on the net? Seems like AVG has gotten rid of their Free stuff.

Is Spybot good? I heard at one point it was.

Spybot is great as long as you do the weekly updates.

AVG 7.x is no longer available but they have 8.x now

Ad-aware is also free.

They also sell a version with more bells and whistles, although the freebie works fine.

Saludos,

I was using AVG but I was having trouble with it and could not find the free download to try and fix it.

Thanks for the help!

I have AVG 8 and as far as I know the anti-virus function is working fine, but it seems to really slow down any browser after a scan. I just reboot and its OK, but I didn't need to do that with AVG 7 or earlier.

Spybot didn't like an HP printer driver I was trying to install, so I deleted it, haven't missed it. I still have Ad-Aware and Spyware Blaster, so I think I'm covered.

I've found C Cleaner works pretty well.
