The Stargate SG-1 series finale is this friday.

Not sure how many of you know of the Stargate, so here is the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate.

It is a big series in the Sci-fi world as being the longest running sci-fi series (star trek dosnt count as it was several different series) with 10 years and over 200 episodes.

It started back in 1994 with the Stargate film directed by Roland Emmerich, the guy who directed Independence Day and Godzilla. Then in 1997 Richard Dean Anderson, yes the guy from MacGyver, took over Kurt Russell's character in the new show Stargate SG-1.

The series finale will be followed by 2 movies.

Sad to see it go. Stargate SG-1 is a great show.

Stargate was a good show, I put up quite a protest to watching it with my ex in the beginning, but before I knew it I'd gotten sucked in! :)
