4-engined thing is an Electra/Orion, looks like a Phantom, a T-6, a Skyraider(?), an S2F, mebbe a couple of L-29s or tweets, and an aircraft carrier painted in the grass.

Any coordinates to this location?

Fri Feb 02, 2007 10:11 pm

THings you find when your bored.

Think South America...

38°44'8.26"S 62° 9'53.36"W

And I don't think it's an F-4.

Don't cry for me Argentinaaaaa...... 8)

I punched the coordinates into Google Earth, and did a litte more googling around. It's the Museo de la Aviación Naval on the grounds of the naval air station at Bahia Blanca, Argentina (Base Aeronaval Comandante Espora.)

I can't find a wbsite, but pics of some of the aircraft are here: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?front=yes&s=1&keywords=argentina%2Bnavy+museum

<edit> can't seem to get the hotlink to work... :x

There's a half-hour I'll never get back...

If it's in Argentina, there's probably a T-28 in there.
