 Post subject: 2007 Detroit Auto Show

This past weekend I went to the Detroit Auto Show with my fiance. Cars are her thing and of course planes are mine, so she comes to air shows with me and I go to car shows and races with her. :D

It was a really good show (it was the first time I was there) and there were about 700 cars there! One thing I did learn though was that plane people are much more polite than car people! :shock:

I don't think I'll be back to the auto show until they expand Cobo Hall, or until I can go on a Wednesday afternoon. It's impossible to move in there Friday through Monday.

The rumor mill keeps churning that they're going to knock down Joe Louis Arena to allow room for Cobo to expand. I'd hate to see the Joe disappear, but I wouldn't mind a new home for my Red Wings....
