Aviator mustards? http://www.barhyte.com/lines/mline.cfm?cID=7

This place sells aviation themed cookies (the tins I suppose are the themed part, but they also do custom designed tins, etc.,)

:D Too much fun.

That's interesting Tim.
I knew a 356th FG pilot in Florida named Len Loeffler who owned a Seafood restaurant.

There are a couple of those around here. there is the 356th Fighter Group in Akron, and the 100th Bomb Group in Cleveland. The 100th bombgroup has a couple a full sclae mock ups. One of a P-38, and one of a P-51. At least they did a few years ago.

All owned by Specialty Restaurants Corporation, i.e. David Tallichet. Been to the 94th Aero Squadron restaurants at Pal-Waukee and Van Nuys.

356th FG isn't a Specialty Restaurant anymore. It now has a local owner. The 100th BG had a Mustang replica...no P-38...but I'm not sure if it was put back in place after the move.

Getting back to the original topic of Ryan's well said frozen eagle syndrome and the need to renew our commitments to aviation... I too need to go reup my medical and get flying again. I haven't been up in over three years... To much 7am to 6pm six day a week lawyer work to find time to fly. In fact I've gotten to the point, that I'm avoiding of thinking about warbirds, airshows, posting on WIX, etc. as I feel like such a pretender... What is the point of talking about flying and airplanes if you can’t fly?

Maybe 2007 is time to get back in the air and get my taildragger checkout...

Jim
