What vehicle do you drive?

Tue May 04, 2004 4:07 pm

Here's a question to start off this section.

What vehicle (without wings) do you drive?

I drive a 2003 Ford Focus ZX3

2001 Saturn SL1 (Gotta save as much petroleum reserve as possible for my radial engine ventures later in life).

With nearly 100,000 miles on her, I should have bought a Cessna 120 for commuting to work instead of the 80 mile round trip each day!

...ah the sacrifices for being employed doing what I only called a hobby before!

1999 Ford Focus SE Sport. Grey.

Or do you meant the Fw 149D?

Sorry to exclude you Mainers, but a saddled Moose isn't really a vehicle.

I drive a 1995 Chevy Baretta. Not fancy, but realtivly cheap and reliable.

Sorry, I only recognise the Ford Focus (is this the same as the Focus in the UK) but I drive a '99 BMW 523.

Nice car but eats fuel at the rate of 30 miles to the gallon!

I've got this Corvette that I've been bolting performance parts onto for the last few years. It's a super fun project, but a money pit. I suppose I'm subconsciously preparing myself for the financial rigors of warbird ownership. Now if I could only multiply my income x10!

As I understand things, great in a straight line but a bugger to get round corners :)

Although I don't speak with any experience!

Either the HMMWV that or my '03 Toyota Tundra pick-me-up. Gotta have something to haul those T-6 parts around in! Now if'n I could sell the HMMWV, I could afford to overhaul that mighty 1340...

Heh, You'd probably be appalled at the 12 mpg I used to get with my Chevelle :)

Yes the European Focus is nearly identical to the American (except the steering position of course) One model thats different is the Focus RS (I want one desperately) It's not available in the states, Ford says rally racing isn't popular here so they don't offer it. It's a Rally inspired variant with better power and handling. I will have to get the SVT (special vehicle team) model in 2006 instead... or the '05 Mustang GT-R.... thats one of the best looking 'retro' vehicles i've seen.

Got a Colorado Red 91 Dodge pickup WITH a cap on the back(protects those ODD THINGS in the back!) I saw Col. Rohr saddled up on the moose the other day, except his is armored, mounts a Mk IV snowball launcher between the antlers and is in winter camo(white and day-glo orange)!

How do I post photos?

Do I have to have my photos on a webpage before I can post them here?

Or can I post directly from my computer?

Saludos,

Tulio

At them moment you still have to have them on a website before you can link to them here. I am working on a module that will allow them to be uploded directly from your hard drive.

Well, with petrol so cheap in the States, I think that I could handle that consumption but here on the right side of the Pond, petrol is about £3.50 per gallon (roughly $6.30) :x

And as we're talking cars, one car that I would kill for, is the new Ford GT (that noise you can hear, is Tony drooling). Apparently only 28 will reach the UK and my names' not on the list so I guess that I'll just have to make do with an original GT40.

(Sorry darling, whats that you said) oh, the wife says I can't have one of those either :)
