Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

Hi all,
After 21 years as the Northern California Chapter of the American Aviation Historical Society, on March 10th, 2006, we ceased to exist. Due to new rules and costs set by national AAHS, we parted ways and formed a new group called the "Society for Aviation History (SAH)". Business continues as usual, and we had a well attended general meeting on April 1st with approximately 80 members and guests in attendance.
I have recently brought online the new SAH website and message board, and will be shutting down the old NCC AAHS website by the end of April. Please bookmark/favorites this webpage, and forward it to your friends that you think might be interested. The SAH site is about 95% complete, and there are only a couple of links still not working.

(Scott, sorry about the shameless plug on your site. Today I transferred 1,733 files, nothing more than a dent compared to your site, along with changing all the headers, text, links, etc.)

Have received a few pm's about the new group, and to let you all know, were doing quite well, as was expected. We've lost no members as of this decision, and only received praise for our necessary decision to survive. In the past couple of weeks, we've even picked up half a dozen new members.
