F35B LANDING ON USS WASP

Thu Jun 20, 2013 7:32 am

This video link is fresh (for the public). It was made just six weeks ago in the Atlantic, just off Newport News(Hampton Roads), Virginia ..

These are the latest sea trials of the F-35B on the USS Wasp. They were very successful, with 74 VL's and STO's in a three week period. The aircraft is also stealth, and super-sonic.

The media and the program critics had predicted that we would burn holes in the deck and wash sailors overboard.

Neither of which happened. You will notice a sailor standing on the bow of the ship as the jet rotates. That was an intentional part of the sea trials.

No catapult... No hook.... Its a new world out there!

The shape and scope of warfare worldwide just changed.

Here is news for you. This plane is obsolete right out of the gate. Planes with humans on board will be next to go. Sad but true.

You've got to have been in a time warp or something.... That was all shot last year and has been out on youtube since November 4th...some good footage tho... :supz:

Just did the first vertical takeoff and live weapons lauches within the last two months. Lots of stuff pops up on both the company site and the Code One site as it becomes releasable.
