Wed May 25, 2005 8:54 pm

Here are the pictures of Saturday. I missed up the White Balance setting on th camera, that is why the color is all messed up.

Be sure to take a close look at the old photo I snapped a shot of of he Airport, What a/c are they?

Also What is wrong with the Akagi (sp?) model?

Ok Tim,

First the flight deck should be paint amber wood with a large Sun on the Bow

Second their was no elevator on the Starbord side of her.

Three the Island is all wrong it was rather back and was slanted counstruction

Forth it missing the six rows of AA Batterys on the Port side just aft of the tower.

I would have to look more but I'm sure I could find some other stuff.

RER

That is more than I knew.

The A/C, I thought one of the B-29 was really a B-50. Did the KB-29M have the upgraded engines and higher tail? I thought the B-23s in the picture was the best part, that is the biggest reason I took a picture of it.

Half Track is a M16?

The small tank, I can't remember what the owner said it was.

Duce 1/2, what are they M??

And other help I’d be grateful for.

Alright, every page it is then. I'll assume you know what everything other than the vehicles are so I'll skip those.

Picture 3: Studebaker M29 (Weasel)
Picture 4 and 5: White/Autocar M3 halftrack (The M-16 has the Maxon quad .50 cal. AA turret mounted in the rear. If this was an M-16 at one time the owner has gone to no small expense to restore this as an M3 or M3 variant. I base this simply from what I can see in the photos.)
Picture 6, 7 and 8: M22 Locust Airborne tank
Picture 9 and 10: Ford M8 armored car (Greyhound)
Picture 11, 12 and 13: Dodge WC-14 1/2 ton weapons carrier
