I know this sounds odd, but as I am about to walk to the alter with my up and coming bride this weekend, I just had a relization. I'm going on my 2 week honeymoon and I'm going to miss out on my WIX fix. Thats 2 whole weeks with no warbird pictures. I think I am a little sad. Oh well a little obsession never hurt anyone.....right? I'll see you all in july. Cheers!

No way to sneak in a museum or aircraft visit in on the Honeymoon?

I found a way to visit a few microbreweries on mine. Not too much warbird related stuff in NH and I did not know about WIX at the time and my wife did not understand the addiction I had to warbirds at the time, thought it was a passing phase or something.

No time to leave. We are off to disney world for a week and on to the cruise ship for a week. Though I'll at least see the bird at Universal. :!: :D

Sounds painful leaving the board for that long, but on the other side, look who you'll be with. Congratulations in advance, and I'll give you a soda pop toast at the Vertical Challenge Air show down the street from you on the same day :drinkers:

While in Florida, sneak away to Fantasy of Flight and Stallion 51. Both are pretty close.

Ellen and I went to the Air Force Museum for our honeymoon! No, I'm not kidding, and we had a great time. Twenty five years later we find ourselves in Midland every %$@&^* weekend, but somehow she still puts up with me. We hope your marriage is as great as ours has been Bugazon, and congratulations!

Scott

Your first mistake is not planning the honeymoon around the warbird destination! ;) Hahaha, just kidding.

We went to Hawaii and i told my wife that we were going to Pearl Harbor. And that is just how it was going to be. We had to make a special trip to Oahu too.

Thank you all for the kind and warm remarks. Well now that im back, I did get a slight fix while I was out. At Disney World MGM Studios, I was able to find what I think was The back of a lodestar. I was unable to confirm that. It was part of the Indiana Jones display. Before you go in the Indie stunt show, There was an airtractor dressed up like a crashed Luftwaffe aircraft. And finally on the way back to the Orlando airport, I saw a B52 sitting outside on display. I Missed the WIX *sigh
