Walt Powell of Slippery Rock PA has passed away

Hello Warbird community,
Walt V. Powell is my uncle and since I've seen his name pop up in a number of posts on this forum, I wanted to reach out to this community to let you all know that he recently passed away on February 27, 2019.
Thank you all for sharing his passion for aviation history.

Sorry to hear about this Dan: I helped Walt with both his F-86s over the years. His legacy lives on.
