mounting "dishpan" on Engine Mount

Hi there,
a question for the T6 specialists. We are about to reinstall the fixed ring cowling (aka dishpan) on the engine Mount. When we removed it for overhaul we found leather washers installed between the Ring Cowling and Engine Mount. Since we cannot find them in the Parts Manual we are wondering if these are original and if they are required.
Thanks for the Help
Stefan

Dishpan is solidly mounted with 3/16" AN bolts to the engine mount. It needs to be fixed because all the accessory cowl pieces attach to it.
The exhaust outlet segment is very difficult to install with the dishpan in place I've found. The other exhaust segments install quite easily. I had to remove an exhaust stud to get my outlet on.
I suggest installing the dishpan to the mount and the exhaust to the engine, then install the engine to the mount.
I've not seen leather washers anywhere om a T-6.

This helps a lot.
I see if i can find some Pictures of these washers, just for info. But anyway, i think we just leave them away anyway
Thanks
Stefan

Hello,
one T6 accident report stated that:
T.O. 01-60F-74 Addition of Spacers to Engine Ring Cowl, T-6C,D,F and G
was not performed on the accident A/C
We are trying to get a copy of the specified T.O. ....
On an Ex-SAAF T-6 we found some spacers as well...
Best regards
Chris

When installing the dishpans, it is useful to have access to a large selection of swear words.
