Hi.. ...I'm really hoping someone here can help me locate some parts for a Harvard type fixed rear canopy enclosure? If everything has been successfull there should be an image below showing the fixed enclosure with the parts obviously missing, they are the centre curved top piece & the R/H side centre vertical piece: [img ![]() I've tried a few different avenues to source these parts but have been unsuccessful so far.... so would really appreciate any help right now! Hi Jason Have you found those missing parts for the rear canopy? Have you tried us on the Mainland? (New Zealand ha ha). I have a friend who has an ex-RNZAF MK2 Harvard project but he has used a MK 2A/MK3 rear fuselage and moving rear canopy but I could ask him about those parts for you. His will be static, yours looks like a minter........so a flier one day? Cheers Baz |

Hello Baz No, I didn't find those two fixed rear canopy pieces, ended up getting them CNC machined. I tried all the contacts I knew of & some others that I didn't.. no luck. I think I know your friend in En Zed with the static project.. he tried to assist & the effort was appreciated none-the-less. I'd still like to find originals though.. am still looking. Yes, the project I'm working on will be a flier, getting torwards the end of the resto, a few little niggling jobs to do that I've been putting off so far. Jason |

Thats interesting as I work as a CNC machinist here in NZ! So what colour scheme will your Harvard be in? Canadian? I too am rebuilding an aircraft. Nothing as grand as a Harvard though. I have a J5F Auster (here's a thread from a forum here I belong to: http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... 929&page=1 ) I've got one in the vintage section in the Vintage section here but's its similar to the NZ one. I've got a looooong way to go though! Be nice to say i'm getting near the end! |

No not Canadian, it's an ex West German Harvard IV & is painted Chromgelb RAL1007 (chrome yellow) complete with a Iron Cross on the side, so unique for down here. Haven't painted on any numbers or stencilling as yet though. Have sent PM regarding Auster's! |
