I know there were many posts a few years ago but I am having problems trying to manufacture new wing attach angles
66-13013 angle wing centre section LH
66-13013-1 angle wing sect. upp. RH
55-14027 angle outer wing LH
55-14027-1 angle outer wing RH
However, I am struggling to find the
extrusion that is stated on the
drawing, is it possible to supply any
information on the specification of
the extrusion.

Extrusion number 1E111-A-86
Extrusion number C120A-82-8

Thank you for your help.

The extrusion is just a die form that probably no longer exists. Unless you want to pay to get new dies made and buy a mill run of each shape, you are probably better off finding something close and machining to final size.

There is not a compatable extrusion in existance. We have had new dies manufactured (or are in the process of having new dies) for the following parts:

121-13013 - Extrusion Shape 1E149 (This is the most sought after angle at this time)
121-14027 - Extrusion Shape 1E148
121-13014 - Extrusion Shape 1E143
121-14030 - Extrusion Shape 1E145
121-13303 - Extrusion Shape 1E144
121-14029 - Extrusion Shape 1E146

Any update on the extrusions? Are you planning on making the angles?

Thanks,
Patrick

You may want to give Dave at Yesteryear Aviation (http://yesteryearaviation.com/index.htm) a call in Mason MI. He just may have them as he has a lot of extrusions for the T-6 he had manufactured.

We are having the dies made for all of the angles. Not sure how they will cross back into the Harvard tho.

We have already made and supplied several of the 121-13013 angles.

The 66- angles are Harvard. I would call Lance before endeavoring to make new ones. Lance has a lot of Harvard stuff. As exhorbitant as they are, it's got to be much cheaper than making them.
