Post subject:  C-47 cockpit parts wanted

Hi Folks

I was wondering whether anyone has any of the following C-47 cockpit parts available for sale (or can suggest a source);

Cockpit Floor:

4115735 Floor assy, pilot compartment removable, centre

4115734 Floor assy, pilot compartment removable, side LH

4115734-1 Floor assy, pilot compartment removable, side RH

4114697 Floor assy, pilot compartment LH, stations 76 to 86

4114696 Floor assy, pilot compartment RH, stations 76 to 86

The above comprises most of the floor panels.

5162530-26 Door assy, fire extinguisher control panel cover (the "lift out"
panel which fits between the seats)

Cockpit Roof:

5117186 Installation, pilot emergency hatch cover (the escape hatch itself)

5112869-50 Strip, cockpit enclosure frame synthetic rubber top (escape
hatch rubber seal)

5119393 Mount assembly, pilot's electrical panel (the mount that the two
electrical panels fit onto)

5140981 -2 Panel, pilot electrical RH (the co-pilots "half-moon shaped"
electrical panel)

2202033 panel, pilots oxygen instruments (the mount for the two oxygen
gauges)

2202033-1 panel, co-pilots oxygen panel (ditto)

In addition, I also require the following;

LH side sliding window frame (the "H" shaped frame in several pieces which fits against the sliding window)

Prop de-icing fluid supply tank (from behind the pilots seat)

Altitude limit switch mount (mounts in the top center of the windshield)

644255 autopilot speed valve (mounts on the instrument panel with 3
adjustment knobs)

I'm seeking the above for the restoration of the cockpit of C-47A C/N 10100/ AAF 42-24238 / RAF FL517. Condition is not too important, it's for static display only. Any leads will be most appreciated!

EDIT: Rich, check your PM inbox. I just remembered someone who had to replace their windshield frame due to corrosion – they still might have some of the old pieces since your project is static.

The "Brass Armadillo" antique mall, East of Kansas City, MO on I-70, has two C-47 windows (heavy glass) with frames for sale; I saw them about three weeks ago. The asking price was US$25 per.
