Welcome Van, This is probably ancient history for you, but I'm assuming you've been in contact with Colin Grey and the other folks involved with the Aussie B-24 project. I would think in their search for Liberator bits they must come across doubles from time to time. I was fortunate enough to locate Emerson nose turret remains for them many moons ago. |

i have a pilot seat from a 24, also sans head rest, wasn't even aware that it had 1!!! mine came from wisler in florida, gift from my 1st wife. supposedly it was salvaged in india by tallichette, & is painted with that info to the rear. i had a boat canvas guy replace the upholstery & he did a 1st class job. i've had it since 1988. |

Van, You may want to contact Albert Stix located in St. Louis, if you haven't done so already. He is the one that saved that huge stash of Emerson turret parts from scrapper recently and is in the process of inventorying everything. He has a large assortment of Emerson nose turret parts, ball turret parts and even some Martin upper turret parts which may interest you. On a side note...if you have any spare ball turret parts that you're willing to sell please let me know as I'm always searching for parts to help with my ball turret restoration project. Good luck with your project and welcome aboard!! John |

Van, Have you checked with Ed Kaleta, at Kal Aero? He has a lot of B-24 parts for sale. He has complete cockpit assy's, and fuselage parts. He has listings on Barnstormers. Thanks Eric Project Warbird Salvage/Museum |
