I'm currently finalizing a deal to purchase some spare ball turret parts from a contact at the Pima Air Museum for my project. One of the items is a spare set of external ammo cans used on later models of the ball turret (A-2B model). These are the type that hang above the hanger tubing support structure and feed the ammo directly into the ball turret. I was curious if anybody out there knows where I can obtain a set of internal ammo cans for the ball turret? These are the half-moon shaped stainless steel cans that were located inside the turret (one in front of the other) just in front of the hydraulic units and the hand control unit.

If anybody can help me out with this search or point me in the right direction I'd be much obliged!!!

I've purchased some parts through Jay in the past but unfortunately he doesn't have any other ball turret stuff that I'm aware of. He's told me in the past that he has a stash of turret stuff sitting in one of his warehouses but he just can't seem to locate it, or it's sitting on the top rack and there's a bunch of prop assemblies in the way so he can't get his forklift up there, etc, etc. Don't get me wrong...Jay is a really nice guy and I've enjoyed doing business with him. Unfortunately his inventory is not the most organized
