Have one RCA AVA-120 antenna reel missing some parts. Needs handle and back plate but still has the original copper antenna. $495.00 plus shipping

This is a very rare AVA-120 reel built during the war under license by Continental Radio and Television Corp. Identical to the RCA except has CRT data plate. These were used on the L-2, L-3 and L-4 during WW II.

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and I'm here for 1 reason and 1 reason only. In my life I come up on some odd items well today I came up on a RCA antenna reel. Model AVA-120. 4 digit serial number (1st number is a 4) MI-19611... Its fully intact, has the back plate, and the copper wire wrapped around the spool. Black in color with black handle... Once I can post some pix I will or you can shoot Me your email address and I will send them to you.. I'm posting in this thread because it seems to be the only place on the Web I can find where someone else had the same thing for sale, granted from with i can tell this one is alot nicer and the last one that sold was awhile ago... Once this one is gone is gone. So if your in the market, contact me. I saw what the last one sold for so include an offer but please don't try to low ball me, that will be the quickest way to get me to ignore your messages... Thanks for your time in this matter and good luck and let the bid/offers begin...

MARK D, Please send me a Pm with your email and/or a phone number I can text you at... I'm new to this board so I can't send or reply to PMs yet. Sorry for the delay. It took me awhile to figure out that I wasn't able to find the reply option because it wasn't there... Sorry about that... As for anyone else who might want to take a stab at the antenna reel, please make sure your PMs include your name /email and your opening offer. Also to let you all know. I've been doing my homework and from what I understand. I believe the reel is new and has never been installed on a plane. What leads me to this conclusion is it's still has the inspector ink stamp on the base. Also I've read on a few forums that this is very hard to find item, and complete like this one is almost impossible now a days. Anyways the fourm is kind of short on what I can and can't do as a nubee. So hit me up and I will get back to you asap... Thank you very much for time in this matter and have a Great day...
