Are you interested in historical Aviation Art? Maybe you want to start building your own Corsair and you just need that key first assembly in order to get started. :P

Well, here's your chance. A new old-stock, never installed windscreen for a -5, -6, & -7 Corsair. Could be just the thing for your man-cave !!!

To make it even more interesting, the unit is owned by one of the most respected restorers in the Warbird Community - Craig Charleston. Here's a note I got from him this morning:

Quote:
I am going to advertise this Corsair windscreen assembly soon. It is a Corsair dash 5, 6, 7. type. Complete unit.
Got it from Australia, new old stock, never been fitted to an aircraft, only storage damage to glass.
These days, people are buying this sort of thing as historical art for the office or home.

6K USD. Send me a PM if you are interested and I'll connect you w/ Craig.

BTW...my name is Steve Guilford and I've known Craig for about 32 years now...in case you were wondering.

Hello Steve, you are at the right place. There are a couple guys on WIX that are building up Corsair cockpits for static display. Are you any relation to the late Bob Guilford that once owned the Corsair "Blue Max" ? I met him at Oshkosh late 1970s, nice guy . That was the prettiest Corsair in existence for a long time.
