Eric Trueblood........would that be Eric Hokuf? Cant help with P-51 fuse tank. Precision Aerospace are making P-40 fuse tanks from scratch, but I would have thought Aircorps Aviation would have had similar capabilities to Precision. So I'm guessing your not interested in new manufacture?

On another matter, have you seen the interior cockpit shots of the Sahara P-40(RAF,260Sqdn HS-B)? The cockpit green between frame 4 and frame 5 RHS under upper right longeron. There is always the faded argument, but it looks the same green as all my original P-40 cockpit parts. I found that very interesting.

There is a P-51 fuse tank offered for sale at; www.keypublishing.com , click on forum, historic aircraft and take alook at the : Anyone neeed parts thread.

Now, about that early model P-40 canopy your going to locate for me..................Dont even mention EGYPT.

I inquired about that tank & it is a welded aluminum tank for the ferry flight to the UK, not the original molded rubber tank.

There may be one in the hanger. Do you know the P/N for the tank?
