could you be more specific/detailed like exactly which version of corsair. A scanned copy of the illustrated parts manual would also be very helpfull. I have quite a few spare gunsights that can fit the Corsair but there were so many variants and so many different GS fitted.

The collimator is looking for a F4U7. Here the reference contained in the parts catalog:
BOD-434 356 SIGHT UNIT.
This piece is sought only for decoration. Although it is not perfectly original or exact model, it will do the job ...
In fact it is to give to the former owner of French Corsair F4U7 , Claude S. in gratitude for the great service he has given me for my AD4N Skyraider ...
