For Sale: Original WWII B-24 Liberator Bomber Pilot/Co-Pilot Seat. Retains most of the original B-24 interior green paint. Very scarce these days. This style was used on all B-24 J's and later. This one is marked with the B-24 part number "32", but I've been told that they may have also been used in the B-29. Very rare! Perfect for the heavy bomber collector or use it as a unique desk chair. These do not turn up often anymore in this condition. $500.00 plus shipping. Email or PM me if interested. Can be shipped no problem. Thanks, Van

my b-24 seat was bought in 1987, it was from 1 of dave tallichet's india aquired b-24s. cost me 150.00 to have upholstered back then. turned out beautiful. it's amazing........ i'm 5 foot 9 inches tall, weigh 170 pounds and i can hardly fit my keester into the seat to this day & without flight gear!! amazing when you consider my size & the average stature / weight of a pilot over 65 years ago.

At risk of topic drift, what sort of fabric are those upholstered in?
From the pictures it looks almost like a sateen similar to M-43 and later field jackets.
