Our Fawn II, model 7C, was originally fitted with a seven cylinder, Armstrong/Siddeley Genet Major 145 h.p. engine as were all the model 7C's. It is currently fitted with a Kinner engine

So the engine we would really like to obtain is a seven cylinder Genet Major 1A (also refered to as a Civet 1A) Our Fawn II would be a one of a kind aircraft if it was equipped with this engine.

Does anyone know pf a correct Genet Major engine available?

I seem to recall selling a complete one, with all accessories, in very nice clean condition, to Kemit Weeks some years ago. I don't remember if he had a use for it, at the time, or it may just be sitting in his storage spaces? Suggest you contact him and ask.

**REVISED: Sorry.. I just went back and checked my records. The A.S.Genet Major I had was the five cylinder 100hp.
