Hi Guys-
NOTE- I MAY CONSIDER SELLING THESE RADIOS AS SETS: SCR-287, SCR-274N, etc. if I receive the right offers...7/16/09

Due to financial needs and frustration with how my displays have been going(...) I have decided to sell off the entirety of my WWII USAAF Heavy Aircraft Communications Radio gear. It is, quite literally, enough equipment to outfit 95% of a B-17, B-24, B-25, B-26, C-47, C-46, etc radio room with original radios. Everything being sold as a GROUP only, as is.

The equipment is in mainly good shape, and should be operable without too much work: I have been trying to get together stuff to have a fully working radio display, but have not had time to go through and get everything operable as yet. However, if you have a radio guy(and there are a lot of us) who knows what he's doing, simple operations should get it all up and on-line. Otherwise, it is a great static display for a restored aircraft, and one stop shopping for the whole radio room. The only thing I do not have is the antennas, except for a 104B for the SCR-522 gear.

This is a partial listing for now, I will be refining it to include the associated parts which go with it(mountings, control boxes, etc) by number shortly. Essentially everything radio wise but the wiring itself & an operator.

Partial initial listing:
SCR-287 Liaison Radio Equipment consisting of:
BC-375E Transmitter (Generally good condition, paint has usual wear. 2 meters have cracked glass. Should be operable.)
Mount FT-151 C(good order, slightly modified, but may be used as is, or restored to original)
Dynamotor PE-73C
Mount FT-107
Mounting FT-115B (2)
Tuning Unit TU-5B w/CS-48(I have seen these TUs going in the $300./each range lately!)
Tuning Unit TU-6B w/CS-48
Tuning Unit TU-7B w/CS-48
Tuning Unit TU-8B w/CS-48
Tuning Unit TU-9B w/CS-48
Tuning Unit TU-10B w/CS-48
Tuning Unit TU-26B w/CS-48
Tubes VT-4-C *NOS* (4)(The VT-4-A tubes alone for the BC-375 have been going for $200 EACH due to tube amp audiophiles grabbing them up to make tube amplifiers and there are 4 of them, NOS, included in the sale.)
Tube VT-25
Plug PL-59 (2, w/5ft. cable)
Plug PL-61 (2)
Plug PL-64
Microphone T-17
BC-306A(less Mount) Low Band Tuner Unit
AAF Tech Manual T.O. 08-10-139(original)
BC-348P Receiver, with original dynamotor, WORKING, needs adjustment
Mount FT-154
Plug PL-Q103
Headset
AAF Tech Manual T.O. 08-10-309(original)

SCR-274N Command Radio Set Equipment consisting of:
ARC-5 Receivers(3) & Transmitters(2), mounts(some original, some repro w/original parts), modulator with dynamotor(TX), dynamotors(RX), antenna meter, connectors, triple control head, control cables(I think about 6ft length)

SCR-522 VHF Radio transmitter/receiver box. Not sure of condition of this tx/rx box, but it is mostly there. AN-104B antenna

Components for RC-36 Interphone system- a couple complete BC-366 stations, a couple partial BC-1366 boxes, Amplifier & Dynamotor. Tech Manual

Voice/Range Filters FL-8A, FL-30M

SCR-211 Frequency Meter, metal case with canvas carry case & strap. Copy of Tech Manual

If you want to outfit an original radio room completely, this will get you most of the way!

Selling price is $3,500. plus shipping. I can deliver to areas within 200 miles, if you have an A/C that will be in the area(Southern NJ, eastern PA, North MD & Del.), just let me know what airport to bring them to!

I will post a more complete list shortly, including numbers for mounts, etc.
Any questions, please PM, or e-mail me directly ng19delta<at>yahoo<dot>com

Thanks!

Robbie

-bump- These are going to the first money offered, so if you a/c needs them, contact me! Thanks! May be the last time you'll be able to find as much stuff as a collection which can be installed, leaving mainly wiring and a little fixing to have the complete radio room...
